Hot 100 Senior Photographer Award

What a tremendous honor and blessing! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! I'm still shaking and in complete shock over the incredible news. Our little Studio was awarded one of the "Top 100 Senior Photographers Across the Globe awards!" I had to read the list twice when I saw my name. What a blessing!!! God is so good and I'm so thankful for this incredible photography adventure with Him and for the joy of getting to photograph you! 

We have a few more weeks until we find out exactly which one of our images was the winning image.  If you know me well, you know that I call being patient the "p" word.  Ha!  We will post our image here as soon as we know.

We know there are many photographers to choose from and we are always so blessed when you choose us! It's our joy to capture YOUR memories to treasure!

Summer VIP Senior Sessions

Summer is the PERFECT time for your Senior VIP Sessions.  You have a nice bit of color going on, those natural highlights from the sun, you are well rested, and your schedule isn't so crazy.  Right?!  Your mom may cry a few tears when she sees your awesome images, because the reality will hit that this is your senior year...but it's better then having your mom cry in late April because she can't possibly fit one more thing in her schedule before your graduation and she still has to find a way to get your senior session scheduled. 

Trust me, it happens every year.  And we are happy to try to accommodate...but you will enjoy your summer sessions so much more.  And P.S., we only have 9 dates available this summer.  Your friends already scheduled their VIP Session with us.  Please, don't wait!

Congratulations Class of 2016!!!

You did it!!!  What a joy to know and photograph you!  May each one of your futures look so bright...you have to wear shades!

Sydney Midland High Class of 2016

While we were in California for marketing and Model Sessions with the fabulous Teri Fode and nine other incredible photographers from all over the U.S.A., I received an email from Sydney's mom asking if we could find time to photograph her daughter. 

Thankfully, we found the perfect date, just in time, for Sydney's Senior VIP Session.  Sydney is the Captain of the Varsity Cheerleaders, she was the Catoico Queen, (we were blessed to photograph many of the gorgeous girls in court this year too.  Delight!) and has participated in dance since she was in kindergarten.  With so many accomplishments we had a difficult time narrowing down outfit choices.  But, I love the outcome:

Graduation Haute Couture

We LOVE our seniors and their parents.  It really is a joy getting to know them before their Senior VIP Session, after, and keeping in touch throughout their senior year.  We are seriously blessed with the most incredible clients who often become friends. I love that! 

Last week as many moms and seniors picked up their custom Graduation Announcements from the Studio, so many mentioned they had no idea what they would be wearing to Graduation.  I remember that same exact feeling last year.  Whether your school has strict guidelines, our local high school certainly does, or not, here are some looks we had fun putting together.

Sam~Midland High School (A Sneak Peek}

I was so excited when Sam's mom mentioned that her son loved airplanes and would very much like a Senior VIP Session at the CAF in Midland, Texas.  Oh what an awesome location!!!  The CAF was so gracious to allow us to take pictures while they were busy getting ready for the Air Show.  Sam seemed right at home both at the CAF and in our favorite field.  What a blessing to meet Sam and his mom.  I am counting the days until they can see all of his images!  There are so many to share!

Austin~Stanton High School, Class of 2014 {A Sneak Peek}

What fun to photograph this very active and athletic Stanton High School Senior!  His facebook tags have been quite the hit!  One mom even commented that her daughter was interested in his curly hair and baby blues.  Even though he may never admit it, I think he has rather enjoyed the attention.  Regardless, I enjoyed this session and the fun in capturing his personality.  Despite crazy winds and pending storms, we managed to capture these and 25 others in his gallery.

I have had the blessing of photographing her cousins and Aunt and Uncle but finally had the blessing of meeting Kelcie and photographing her! She is beautiful inside and out!

Reed~Lee High School Class of 2014 {A Sneak Peek}

Senior Guys are so fun to photograph! Really, they are. No, they don't come with trunks full of clothes and accessories so that we can play dress up, but they are still fun! Inevitably, they are less than thrilled but still very polite, when the session begins. By the time we are well in to the session, they have forgotten about being nervous and act like the are having fun. If they aren't having fun, please don't tell me. Ha!  I'm having a blast! It was a pleasure to meet this handsome senior and his beautiful mom and I count it a privilege to have captured his senior images.  Here are just a few.  I'm saving the others for his Session Premiere.

Cameron~Stanton High School Class of 2014 {A Sneak Peek}

This was such a cool session! It was my first request for welding pictures and I must say, it was incredible! I love new challenges. Seeing this senior's face light up when he fired up his welding torch? Priceless! How special to discover that his grandpa was a master welder. I just know God has amazing things in store for this fine Senior!

Danielle~Stanton High School Class of 2014 {A Sneak Peek}

I've known this senior for the past 4 years. She has persevered through major health issues including heart surgery and still managed to keep smiling. I am going to miss her so much in Yearbook class next year but I am so excited to see the path that she chooses and to watch her thrive. Her brother just recently returned from his 5th tour. Naturally, it was a given that we take some pictures with Old Glory on the day she was going to see him as he arrived in the States.

Bayli~ Stanton High School Class of 2014 {A Sneak Peek}

What a joy to photograph this beautiful Stanton High School Senior! I am so thankful we were able to find the date. In spite of grueling west Texas winds, God was so good to help me find locations that gave us respite from the fierce, hair-standing-straight-up, winds. She and her mom were game for absolutely anything and I loved that! I am so excited to show them all of her images this evening!  Delight!

She arrived with confetti, a beautiful frame, a car full of outfits and accessories to choose from, and even balloons. What fun!

Adri {Midland Christian Senior Class of 2014~A Sneak Peek}

Wowza! This Midland Christian Senior is gorgeous inside and out! One of the comments on facebook said she looked like Pocahontas. Love that. Oh what fun we had taking her senior pictures! I am hoping to get to watch her play ball sometime this spring. Until then, I cannot wait to show her all of her images!!!

Haley {Seymour High School Texas-Class of 2014 Sneak Peek}

I loved meeting this beautiful senior and her family! Oh, what fun we had putting outfits together! I think we visited and giggled the entire session. What a blessing to meet them and to photograph their baby girl. This family traveled over 4 hours to get to their session! Seriously, I am blessed with the most incredible clients!  

She brought this dress and I added my hat.  Hearing that she loved pearls, this seemed like the perfect accessory!

She borrowed her boyfriend's jersey.  He surprised her with these shorts. So cute!
